Why I created Mercury's Wisdom
As a mom of two and a former middle school reading teacher of 14 years, I understand the struggles of school on many levels.
While I was getting my Master’s I applied multiple learning style options to the Reading curriculum that I was teaching both for students reading at grade level and below. I saw how it empowered them and made it easier for them to comprehend.
As a mom I saw the struggles in my own home. Our youngest struggled with reading and as a reading teacher, I found this very humbling. I am grateful to the middle school teacher who helped make it all click for him (yes, it took until 7th grade).
What I wish I’d known then: there’s another layer I could have used to help. It's called Mercury's Wisdom: Discovering Learning Styles for All Ages.
